Job Description
As a Sales Representative at Young Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by engaging with homeowners, providing estimates, and delivering superior customer service. While prior sales experience is recommended, we are willing to train the right candidate who exhibits drive and enthusiasm.
Position Requirements
- Highly self-motivated and people-oriented
- Run company provided lead appointments
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
- Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Sales and/or management experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to knock on homeowner’s door or other cold-call techniques
Responsibilities
- Educate customers on Young Construction’s services
- Provide solutions to homeowners regarding their home improvement needs
- Follow up on leads provided by Young Construction promptly
- Procure leads through canvassing and door-knocking, especially during storm events
- Oversee jobs during production, handling change orders and clarifications as needed
- Conduct final walkthroughs and follow-ups with homeowners to ensure satisfaction
- Make efforts to collect payment in full upon job completion
- Commit to learning new methods and building standards of installation
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions
- Perform any reasonable duties assigned by the sales manager
